We're looking for foster families and volunteers to come and play with the animals at the shelter. We'd love to find foster homes for our dogs especially, they need more socialization. It would be so beneficial for them to be with some loving family until they get their own permanent homes. If you live in the Pulaski, NY area and are interested, please email the address below or call Donna at 315-625-7994. Thanks.
Who We Are
We are a small shelter located in Central New York. Our funding comes from a little shop that sells new and used items such as clothing, kitchen wares, jewelry and knick knacks called the Trash N' Treasure, located in Pulaski, NY. All items are donated to the shop and all profits from the Trash N' Treasure go towards the upkeep and care of the United Friends of Homeless Animals shelter and animals. We also accept donations and appreciate them tremendously. If you would like to donate money, please make your checks payable to United Friends of Homeless Animals and mail your check to our address at 432 Centerville Rd. Richland, NY 13144. We can mail you a receipt if you'd like.
Adopting a friend
We have several dogs and cats in need of permanent, loving homes. Check out their descriptions and pictures. ***References are required as is a small adoption fee. Please inquire to the email address below if interested or call our shelter manager, Terry, at the number listed below.*** All pets will be or already are spayed/neutered before you take them home.
Come Visit Us!
Call us at (315) 298 -4733 or (315) 447-5157to make an appointment to come and visit us. You are welcome to play with the cats and dogs to get to know them a little better, actually we encourage it. Also seeking volunteers who would like to visit on a regular basis to play with the animals. Let us know if you are interested.
***If, for whatever reason, the adoption does not work out, we ask that you bring the pet back so we can try again for the perfect fit. We want our animals to go to the perfect home and most of all to be happy.***
