Who We Are
Welcome to Humane Enforcement and Animal Rescue Team (H.E.A.R.T.). Since its incorporation of August 25, 2000, H.E.A.R.T. has saved hundreds of animals' lives. We are a no-kill, non-profit, tax exempt organization run by dedicated volunteers. Every dog and cat is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, housebroken, wormed, and treated for fleas prior to adoption. Our animals are not kept in cages but allowed to roam freely about the shelter.
Adopting a friend
Anyone interested in adopting a pet may contact us via e-mail or telephone. We require a home check and afford a trial period before the adoption is finalized. H.E.A.R.T. adopts to indoor homes only. All adoption fees are used for the continued care of the animals. ***Fees are reduced for multiple adoptions.***
