Infinite Hope is an all-volunteer rescue group affiliated with Hope Veterinary Clinic, located at 390 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood (near Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Park Slope, and Ft. Greene).
Our volunteers rescue stray and abandoned animals, and work to find loving, permanent homes for them. While in our care, all of our rescued animals receive high-quality food, shelter, positive interaction with our volunteers, and all necessary medical care, including:
Though we are not a shelter, we are fortunate to have a small adoption center at Hope Veterinary Clinic. Please note that we are a local New York City, community-based adoption group. We ask that anyone interested in adopting a new companion visit the adoption center and spend some time with the available cats, to ensure a good match for all.
All potential adopters are required to complete our adoption application; once an application has been approved, the adopter must sign our adoption agreement. If adopting a kitten under 5-6 months of age, the adopter must agree to spay or neuter once the kitten is old enough for the procedure.
Additionally, we require a minimum donation of $150 per cat. This amount represents just a small fraction of the actual costs we incur for each cat and kitten we rescue, and helps us to continue our ongoing rescue efforts.
While we make every effort to keep our Petfinder listings up to date, not all of our available animals are posted on Petfinder. All posted animals are subject to prior adoption, and it is not possible to hold animals, or complete the application process for someone who has not yet visited our clinic.
If you can foresee a time that you would consider giving up your cat - perhaps due to a move, a new baby, divorce, or a new relationship (with someone who doesn't like cats, perhaps) - we ask that you do not adopt.
