Located in New York City, WAGGYTAIL RESCUE is a not-for-profit group run by tireless and dedicated volunteers whose goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place dogs in loving, permanent homes.

Waggytail Rescue was borne out of the desire and passion of dog lovers who want to help the "unwanted" and abandoned animals of New York City. Most of the dogs we rescue are the ones that the city shelters don't have the time or resources to rehabilitate, so that's where we come in!

View our available dogs, find one you like and fill out an Adoption Application.

An Adoption Coordinator will arrange a convenient time for you to visit the dog.

If you already have a dog, please bring him/her with you so the they can meet. If it's all a match, then you have a new family member! We check references, require an adoption donation and signed adoption agreement.

We Need FOSTER Homes!

All of our dogs are placed in foster homes where they receive the love, care and treatment they need to be ready for adoption.
