PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT TAKING IN MORE CATS AT THIS TIME. Our plan is to produce an anti-declawing VIDEO, for which we have the screenplay and veterinarians lined up to speak out against the paw tip mutilation.
Who We Are
PLACE FOR CATS is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization incorporated in the State of New York. We acquired not for profit status in 1994. PLACE FOR CATS has found homes for 1000 strays since 1990. As of 2008, we have adult cats for adoption. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT TAKING IN MORE CATS AT THIS TIME.
Adopting a friend
CATS adopted from Place For Cats are (1) spayed or neutered; (2) blood-tested for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV; (3) up-to-date on necessary vaccinations; (4) groomed prior to delivery to their new home. PLACE FOR CATS provides counseling in the event of concerns after adoption and will take back the cat if the adoption does not work out. Adoption fee is $100.00.
