Adoptions
Since February of 2002, PETsMART in Crossgates Commons, Guilderland, has graciously allowed us to use their in-store space to house our cats. We hold adoption clinics as follows:
Monday through Friday 6:00 - 7:30 PM, Saturdays from 1 - 4 PM and Sundays from noon - 4 PM.
You may view our cats through the glass any time the store is open. If you are interested in adopting, please come to a clinic and complete the adoption application and contract. We do our best to match the individual personality and needs of our animals with that of the prospective adoptors.
Our adoption fee is $75 per cat, and $150+ per dog, depending on the dogs needs. This fee helps to cover the medical costs associated with your new pet. All cats available for adoption through Noah's Kingdom Humane Society have been spayed or neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and had their rabies and distemper vaccines. The discounted adoption fee for adopting two cats together is $130.
If you currently have a cat that has tested positive for FeLV (feline leukemia) or FIV (feline AIDS) please contact us. We maintain a waiting list of people who are interested in adopting positive cats, and will contact you when we have located a cat that might be suitable for your home.
The number of feral (wild and unsocialized) cats living on the streets has grown to epidemic proportions. If you are caring for a colony of outside cats, we can help you get them tested, vaccinated and altered at a substantial discount from the normal costs. Please call 463-3720 for more information.
Noah's Kingdom's newest program, "Seniors Need Love Too" is designed to help older cats who have lost their homes. Senior cats can be the perfect companion for a family who is looking for a calm, loving pet who still has many years of love left to give. To encourage adoption of these animals, the adoption donation of cat age 7 and over is only $40 for one, or $80 for two.

Presently, Noah's Kingdom Humane Society has cats and dogs available for adoption. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please call 518 869 6266 directly to speak with their foster parents.
Volunteering
Like all other non-profit charitable organizations, we are in need of volunteers. Since moving into PETsMART, our need for volunteers is greater than ever because the cats must be fed and the cages cleaned daily. We also need people who are experienced to socialize shy cats, help with adoption clinics, and raise funds to help spay and neuter feral cats in managed colonies.
