Who We Are

The Animal Shelter is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for adoptions Monday through Saturday. Animals can be claimed by their owners until 5:00 p.m. We accept animals between the hours of 10am and 12pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and Holidays.

We take in animals from only Saratoga County. We however adopt to people from all over. We work with rescue groups to try to find all of our animals great homes. Please visit our website to see all that we have to offer.

Mohawk Honda in cooperation with The Haven Animal Hospital and Hearthstone Veterinary Clinic have been nice enough to spay and alter some of our cats. We want to thank them for their assistance in helping to control the population of animals.

Senior to Senior

The mission of the Senior to Senior Animal Adoption is to place senior dogs and cats age 5+ and older with loving senior citizens age 60+. It has been proven in countless studies that seniors thrive from the companionship of a pet.

* The Senior to Senior Animal Adoption Program is a joint program between the Saratoga County Office for the Aging and the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
