Who We Are
The Town of Camillus Dog Shelter is home to loose dogs that are picked up by the Dog Control Officer. If they are unclaimed by their owner after five days of impoundment, they become eligible for adoption. The shelter is a clean and healthy environment for the dogs, where they receive basic care, excercise, training, and lots of love!
We believe that all unclaimed dogs are owed a second chance to find a great home and become a loving and devoted family member and companion! The shelter staff evaluates each dog's personality and temperament in order to match each dog with an appropriate home.
We're proud to have placed countless dogs into great families in which they have thrived!
Adopting a friend
The cost to adopt a dog from the Camillus Dog Shelter is $81.00, which covers the cost of a rabies vaccination, dog licensing,a microchip including it's registration, and the spaying/neutering deposit.
