Who We Are
We are municipal Animal Control Agency which seizes and holds dogs for the Town of Poughkeepsie.
Dogs that are not reclaimed are put for adoption. The dogs put up for adoption are vaccinated and altered.
Adopting a friend
Anyone interested in adopting a dog should call (845)790-4677.There is a $50.00 adoption fee. All adoption donations
are put back into a spay/neuter fund used for altering town strays.

Our dogs can be seen at Arlington Animal Hospital Monday thru Friday Please call the animal control office FIRSTat (845)790-4677 to set up an appointment for meeting animal
