Our pet of the month introduces herself...
Our pet of the month is Smilin' Sue!! This absolutely beautiful girl has found her forever home in Lake Luzerne with with her new family and her greyhound friend Bess.
Who We Are
We are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to finding good, responsible homes for retired racing greyhounds. Fast Track Greyhounds, Inc. is registered with the IRS as a non-profit organization... thus charitable donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. We receive no financial aid from any government sources and rely heavily on the generosity of pet lovers like you for monetary donations. We typically adopt to families within a 50 mile radius of our home base, but are happy to direct non-local folks to an adoption group in their area.
Adopting a friend
A greyhound is a loyal friend and companion who wants nothing more than to be comfortable and have a family of his own to love. He adapts very quickly to pet life and is very eager to please his new family. You will find him/her to be much more mellow and laid back than you can imagine but at the same time very affectionate and loyal. The typical greyhound gets along very well with other pets and children. Yes, he can run 45 mph, but once he retires the only place he wants to race is into your heart...with the possible exception of your couch!

Walker's Farm Suppy in Fort Ann on Saturday Sept. 11th from 11am until 2pm.
Because we are a very small, all volunteer organization we must limit our adoptions to within 100 miles of the Glens Falls, NY area. To find a greyhound adoption group near you try www.adopt-a-greyhound.org. Thanks!
