This website is dedicated in loving memory of a sweet little pitbull who never had a forever home.
He gave his love to his caretakers in a kennel where love is freely given to those without homes,
and he lived his life within the safety of the Canine Sanctuary.

Who We Are

The Canine Sanctuary is a humane society staffed by professional kennel workers and trained volunteers.
We operate out of donated space at a local Kennel.
Weekly training sessions held on the premises
help make our dogs more adoptable.
To date, over 1000 successful adoptions have taken place.

Adoption

Our adoption process includes a preliminary screening, and then educating the prospective pet owner on spay/neutering, training and
acclimating pets to their new homes.
Follow up visits and telephone calls are then made on a daily/weekly schedule.
All dogs are groomed on the day of their adoption.

Volunteering & Donations

Donations are desperately needed to cover veterinary care, boarding, and advertising costs! We are in need of a commercial washer and dryer, blankets, toys, biscuits, treats, towels, canned dog and cat food, and of course volunteers.
