WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are in DESPERATE need of foster homes!!! We try to match our dogs to the best foster situation for both the dog and the family. We fully encourage our Foster Families to meet with their perspective pup to make sure all family members fell comfortable and confident. some reasons to consider fostering: Fostering gives a dog a second chance at life. Fostering a dog is a wonderful, life-affirming project for the entire family (although singles and couples can foster, too, of course). Fostering a dog costs virtually nothing. (Rescue pays for Vet care and food.) Fostering a dog is fun. Fostering a dog is rewarding. Fostering can be done anywhere--in a city or suburb, a house or apartment. Fostering a dog can take place whenever you are ready. Fostering a dog offers the company of canines to those unable to make a long-term commitment. PLEASE contact us if you think you have the room in your heart and your home to foster one of our dogs. Fostering may last only a few weeks, but the difference you'll make in that dogs life will last a LIFETIME! Ideally, we want to have all of the available dogs in foster homes before they are adopted. Unfortunately, most are housed in a kennel environment because we don't have enough foster homes. Please open your home to a dog in need.

Come Visit Us

We are not a shelter. Our dogs are shown by appointment only because most are housed at various foster homes or a private boarding facility. We DO NOT hold dogs for adopters, we DO NOT ship dogs. Please be sure that ALL members of the household want a pet BEFORE submitting your application, a dog is a 10+ year commitment that everyone in the family should be ready and willing to take on.Applications are handled in the order they are received. If you see a dog you are interested in, please contact us for an application, once it is complted please send it back to us for review. If there are any questions or concerns you may have with the dog your considering, voice them in your application. Once we receive and review your application, we will call or email you to let you know if we feel this may be a good match. At that time we will discuss what day and time you would like to meet with the dog your interested in.

Due to the nature of the breeds we deal with, we WILL NOT place any of our dogs into homes that already have dogs of the same sex.

We DO NOT ship dogs, but are willing to adopt dogs out of state if within driving distance. You must be willing to drive out to the location where the dog is housed to meet the dog before adopting. ALSO, If you are an owner seeking to surrender your dog, be aware that ALL dogs must be UTD on shots and altered BEFORE they will be accepted into rescue,there is also a fee to cover the care of the dog you are surrendering.

Please read our adoption policies before filling out an adoption application. Minimum requirements for adopting are: All applicants must be at least 21 years of age Previous large breed ownership experience preferred Participation in formal obedience training and socialization often required Demonstrated responsible dog ownership, and primary care giver of a dog (INCLUDING Spay/Neuter of current family pets) Dog must live INSIDE as a member of the adopter's family If you rent, we require a letter from your landlord giving you permission to keep this breed of dog on the premises and there are no insurance problems. If you do not meet these minimum requirements, please wait until your circumstances change before applying to adopt. WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY DOGS AT THIS TIME
