Who We Are
My Pets Place is a central Jersey pet store trying to do its part to end companion animal overpopulation. In addition to working with local animal rescue groups and shelters by periodically hosting adoption days, the store takes in stray or otherwise homeless kittens, and fosters them until they can be adopted. Refusing to add to our feline overpopulation problem, the store's owner and a NJVFA member ensure that all kittens are early spayed/neutered prior to adoption as long as they are 8 weeks in age and 2 pounds in weight.
Adopting a Friend
Fairly typical application forms and donation fees are used in the adoption process. Kittens rarely go home immediately after an application has been filled out but generally do so after a day or two goes by - impulse adoption is discouraged. Please call the store before making a long trip to check the availability of kittens.
Volunteering and Donations
Volunteeers and donations are always needed if not for the store's kittens then for other rescue groups and shelters in our area to which we can refer people.

My Pets Place is located in the Drug Fair, Shopping Center on Route 9 North in Howell, NJ. Aldrich Road is the nearest cross street. Howell is between Lakewood and Freehold in central NJ.
