We wish to extend a big Thank You to all the volunteers at B.A.R.K.S. that have helped up adopt out many of our companion friends. Your help and devotion was always appreciated!
Who We Are
We are a Municipal Pound serving the communitiies of Sparta, and Ogdensburg.
We have one full time Animal Control Officer, and 1 part time Adoption Counselor on staff
Adoptions are open to everyone!
Adopting a friend
Our adoption hours are:
Monday through Friday from 2pm to 4pm
Saturday from 10am to 12pm
We are closed on Sunday

*****Shelter UPDATE…we had a GREAT day Saturday and Tuesday. We really appreciate the community's support!! Everyone is adopted. Many groups stepped up, such as KISS, CLAWS, BARKS, SCFA, FURR, and Dr. Dashfield. Thanks so much to all of you! We are all so thankful for the caring hearts out there!! Thanks to Dr. Dashfield they all have their distemper shots now!!*****
