Who We Are
Heart's Desire Equine Rescue is dedicated to saving abused, neglected, and unwanted horses. We also accept owner released horses in which circumstances do not allow them to keep their horse. We have a wonderful volunteer base who are committed to the care and futures of these horses. We encourage field trips in order to educate children and adults about the care of horses. We encourage a spirit of compassion and cooperation in order to work together to save the horses.
Adopting a friend
It is our "heart's desire" that every horse have the opportunity to experience the love and care of a "forever" family . We make a committment to every horse that we accept into the rescue, that we will find the best possible home and that we will maintain an ongoing relationship with the horse as well as the adopter to ensure that their care is always a priority. By retaining ownership of the horse, we ensure that each horse is always cared for.
