Meet Wendy and BB! They were one of the first wave of 2008's Easter bunnies. They are extremely sweet and personable, and would make a good pair of bunnies for a "newbie" bunny owner.

CreatureCraft Now Making Custom Products!
CreatureCraft is ACR&S primary fundraising effort. We accept donations of art or craft items for resale, with 100% of the proceeds going to direct animal care!

CreatureCraft is now offering customized pet products through our CafePress store. If you have a pet picture that you'd like to see on any of our products, just email us! We'll perform all of the artistic magic to give you a gorgeous item with your very own pet's picture on it, and then you can buy it on any product you like!

We focus on rescuing small exotic pets which have needs that often cannot be met by regular animal shelters. We also help with rehabilitating wildlife and placing other animals, such as livestock, by working with other rescue groups that specialize in those areas.

Our two adoption coordinators are based in Morrisville, NC and Charlotte, NC; and we serve the entire NC Piedmont area. Unfortunately, due to rising gasoline costs, we are no longer able to travel to place animals outside North Carolina. We can still help you via email, by guiding you to other members of our network of out-of-state shelters and rescues, who can help you find the perfect pet locally!.

ACR&S' success is wholly dependant on our network of rescue groups, foster homes, and volunteers. If you would like to join us in any capacity please contact us.

ACR&S is also a sanctuary for unwanted animals to live out their days in peace and with love. Our current permanent residents include sixteen guinea pigs, a finches, a parakeet, a cockatiel, and eight elderly or special needs rabbits. To learn more about them you can visit our Sanctuary page.

How You Can Help
It costs over $300 per month to keep these guys in hay, pellets, and bedding, not to mention the costs of toys, preventative vet care, and neutering for the males. If you would like to help, the easiest way is via Paypal. Click the button below to donate:

Checks or money orders can be made out to ACR&S or All Creatures Rescue & Sanctuary, and mail to the address to the right.

Adoption Procedures
We ask for prospective adoptive homes to fill out an application, which is available online here. You may also email me at the address below if you would like me to send you a copy via email. We use this application to determine that you have:
1. A demonstrated history of responsible pet care
2. A demonstrated understanding of appropriate pet husbandry
3. A willingness to learn and make changes where needed
4. A willingness to abide by the agreements in the ACR&S adoption contract.

Please note that we do perform a vet check and a landlord check (if you rent) as part of the adoption screening.

Please note:
1. Animals adopted from ACR&S may not be sold, given away, or otherwise transferred to any other person or organization other than the person or organization to which adoption rights are granted. If for any reason the adopter us unable to retain possession of the animal, the animal MUST be returned to ACR&S.
2. We do not allow our animals to be used for purposes other than companionship. This includes breeding, showing, eating, research, or defense. We will refuse to adopt or foster to anyone who engages in any of these practices with their animals.
