Who We Are
Cape Fear Valley Animal Hospital is a veterinary hospital that also helps homeless animals. There is no local humane society or any other organization to help them in this area, so Dr. Beretich somehow began to fill in this void. Often there are more animals for adoption than he is actually treating as patients. NONE OF THESE ANIMALS WILL BE PUT DOWN. THIS IS A NO-KILL SHELTER.
Adopting a friend
If you would like to adopt one of our animals, please e-mail Debra at plant05@sop.campbell.edu and she can e-mail the adoption aplication and provide information on the availability of the animals and answer any questions. If you do call the vet, please dont ask for the animals by the names that I have given them here, try to describe them. They have so many animals pass through the clinic everyday that they are unable to assign a way of identifying them, they just know what they look like.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, and they do come spayed/neutered, wormed, and the dogs get a parvo shot. If the animals are too young to be spayed/neutered when they are adopted, Dr. Beretich allows and encourages you to bring them back and he will still do the procedure at no charge.
Also, by May 1st we should be receiving some packets from Purina that we will be giving away with each adopted pet. These packets contain a $25 coupon towards your first vet visit, a coupon for a full size bag of any type of purina food you choose (even the expensive stuff that the vet carries), and lots of other useful information.
ALL THAT WE ASK IS THAT YOU BE SURE THAT YOU CAN GIVE THIS PET ALL THE LOVE AND ATTENTION IT COULD EVER HOPE FOR!!
