Who We Are
We are Quail Corners Animal Hospital with our sister clinic, Hidden Valley Animal Hospital. We have been caring for Raleigh's animals for 30+ years. We also operate as an emergency clinic 24 hours and 365 days of the year.
Because we are an emergency hospital, we see many cases of badly injured and very sick animals. Sometimes they are strays, sometimes the owner can not, or will not, pay for treatment, and sometimes they are simply abandoned by the people who are supposed to love them...that's how we get them. Needless to say, they are in sad shape when they come in.
We are well aware how expensive surgery and intensive vet care can be. (We have pets too!) So we decided to start our own program to help these animals without placing the burden on our already strapped local rescue organizations. However, our program is very small and costly. The animals accepted are unique cases and must be approved.
A few important areas---(1) As stated we are an in-hospital program limited by money, time, space and employees to dedicate their services to help our strays (2) We have a strict limit on the amount of animals that we are able to admit into our program. (3) Thirdly, most of our cases require intensive medical care, which is costly. Our program covers these fees solely on the donations that we receive; therefore we are limited monetarily. (4) Lastly, the animals that are introduced to our program follow a "qualification process" before they are accepted. Each case is individually processed & carefully evaluated. Animals that are not qualified are recommend to other groups or given different options. If the animal is accepted, it undergoes all treatments according to QCAHSP requirements and anything recommended a DVM. Once the animal is given a clean bill of health, it is entered into our program & begins its journey to find a happy family!
While we do accept donations of any kind (monetary, blankets, towels, litter, food, surgical supplies...), the large majority of costs are absorbed by our hospital. We do charge a $125.00 adoption fee, which is very minimal in comparison to the healthcare initially received (surgeries, medication, intensive care). In addition, we spay/neuter, test, treat and vaccinate all adoptees.

We fully support most rescue organizations & would gladly give you a recommendation.
Adopting a friend
There is an application and a $125.00 adoption fee.
We do encourage potential, approved adoptors to take animals on a trial basis. We want to make sure it's a "good fit" for all involved!

We are located at 1613 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC. We encourage you to call and schedule an appointment to visit our animals, as they often get abducted by staff for some well deserved "fun time"!
