Lincoln County Animal Control
Special thanks goes to the new family of Dakota and Shasta for their kind hearts in giving these last two wolf/dog's a loving and healthy home! Also for their generous donation of 1470 lbs. of dog and cat food to support our ever increasing supply of homeless and abandoned pets.
We are all so greatfull!!
The adoption and transferring of these animals has went very well and was done in a fairly short period of time. We would like to thank everyone involved in the transport, fostering and sponsoring of these animals. Your help is much appreciated and very valuable in aiding the animals involved in this rescue.
As with all publicly announced events involving Lincoln County Animal Control there has arrisin several rumors and many cases of false information about these animals. We do know where these statements and rumors originated. However, we would like to remind everone interested in the remaining two animals or anyone interested in the facts about this hoarding case to direct their questions directly to Lincoln County Animal Control for first hand and correct information. Lincoln County Animal Control led this project and will continue to lead this project to its end. The information that has been spread about these animals, their former owner and their history of abuse and hoarding has never been discussed with anyone outside of Lincoln County Animal Control employees. Therefore, unless you ask us first hand, I can assure you that the information you are getting is purely false. Do not be misled, Know the Facts.
Thank you to all that have helped and all that are planning on helping!!!
The Staff at L.C.A.C.
We have developed a sponsor program that allows anyone to help by sponsoring an animal in need. You may pay for the spaying and neutering of any animal in our facility, in whole or in part. This will drop our adoption fee accordingly and increase the chances of animals adoption.
All monetary donations or sponsor donations may be mailed to:
Lincoln County Animal Control
418 Mineral Ave
Libby, Mt. 59923
Please include a note with your donation specifying which animal you wish to sponsor. If your donation is not a sponsor the money will go towards the general care, feeding or other neccessary needs ( transport, medical, etc...) of the animal most in need. All current donations will go towards the help of the wolves and the wolf/dogs included in this rescue effort.
Many thanks to all!
Our adoption fees are based upon local veterinarian's spay and neuter fees. The fee for adoption goes toward the spaying or neutering of the pet you adopt.

Our facility is located in a quiet setting nestled in the trees. Plenty of area to walk and play with the dogs. Sometimes you can even watch the wildlife here!
WHATS NEW?
We can currently hold up to 20 dogs and about 60 cats in our indoor, heated facility.
Our facility now has a greeting room where potential new owners can play with our pets in a controlled setting.
Our cat room can now house many more cats than ever before with the "free range" setting we have developed. Some cats get to roam free in the cat room which is equiped with carpeted benches for lounging, toys for when the mood strikes, and ofcourse all of our cats are always fed free choice and offered plenty of excersize.
We also now have a completely seperate quarantine room for cats which is heated, quiet and capable of being completely sterilized.
Due to our rules we were never able to allow the public into the dog kennels for viewing. But now we have devised a way! We have built in a viewing area where all available dogs can be seen and an information card on each available dog is available for you to take home too. All you do is view the dogs, match the card with the dog you are interested in and we will bring that dog out for you to visit with in our new greeting room.
