Commemoratives: Remember beloved pets or friends of animals with memorial donations to the NACHS. Their names will be inscribed in our permanent book of memories and we will send a card to their families, notifying them of your remembrance. Mail your tax-deductible donation to NACHS, P.O. Memberships: We invite pet-lovers and anyone interested in animal welfare to join our organization. Annual dues are $15 for singles or $20 per couple. Members receive a copy of our annual newsletter, periodic mailings of interest, and invitations to NACHS events. Mail your dues to NACHS, P.O. Box 549, Natchez, MS 39121.
Who We Are
The NACHS is a 501c(3) not-for-profit Mississippi corporation. We are contracted by the City of Natchez and Adams County to shelter stray and unwanted animals while actively striving either to restore them to their original owners or to find good homes with new families.
Adopting a friend
Adopters must be 18 yrs. of age or older. Adoption fees are: dogs & puppies, $45 each; cats and kittens, $35 each.
We accept cash or checks drawn on local banks. Fees cover, at a minimum, first inoculations, deworming, exit exam by local veterinarian, spay/neuter and, if over 3 months old, rabies vaccination. All pets adopted from our shelter MUST be spayed or neutered!

Please visit our shelter Monday through Friday, 2-5 p.m., to select the perfect pet for your household.
