Times are hard for everyone. Money’s tight, we know. On our site, you will find ways you can help. You might be surprised what even one dollar can do.

Mutts -n- Stuff depends upon donations. Any amount will help ensure that we can continue our work to rescue area dogs and cats in need. $2 will vaccinate a cat against distemper, $20 will neuter a dog. Please, help us help them.

About Mutts-n-Stuff

Mutts -n- Stuff, founded in August of 2000, is an all-volunteer organization of foster homes, set up to rescue and find good homes for unfortunate animals. We have foster homes ranging from the Festus area out to the Troy area and work with the Jefferson County, Gasconade, Seven Hills, and St. Charles pounds. We mainly foster puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats; however, we have had a pig, a chicken, and a rabbit also.
We are an IRS certified, 501(c)(3) non-profit charity (so all donations are tax-deductible) and all of our foster homes are licensed by the state of Missouri. Because we are an all-volunteer charity, all donations go directly to helping animals in one way or another.

Our purpose is to promote interest and participation in the rescue, foster, and adoption of animals from area pounds, from owners who are dying or who have died, or who are in need of our help. Basically, we try to match animals in need with good adoptive homes. In addition, we are strong advocates of spaying or neutering your pets. In fact, when funds permit, we provide help for those who can't afford to have their pets spayed or neutered.

Foxy

Hi, my name is Foxy and I am still looking for my forever home. I have been in my foster home for about 8 months and here are some things about me from my foster mom:

· I am a little over a year but still have lots of energy ·

I weigh about 40lbs ·

I am a very sweet girl ·

I love to play with tennis balls, frisbees, and just about any toy I can get a hold of, but NO plush because it won't last 2min. Kongs and rubber toys are best. ·

I also love to go on walks, but watch out, I am really strong and like to pull ·

I Know "Sit" ·

I am crate trained and with some more training can be completely housebroken ·

I would do really well with obedience training. ·

I am NOT good with cats or any other small animal ·

I do well with med to large dogs, but must be fed separately because I can be a little food aggressive w/other dogs, but am perfectly fine with people

Please give me a chance. I really need to be in a home that can give me lots of time and attention and can take me to obedience training.

HELLO and HELP!!! We are three lovely cats whose owner has passed away. We do not need to stay together. We are still living in our home but our home is being sold and no family members want us - so they are going to take us to the pound if we can't find a place before then. We do not need to stay together we just each need somewhere to go. We would love for someone to adopt us but even if someone could provide us a temporary foster home - until space opens up in a regular foster home. We are in a jam!!!

We are mature cats that have been well taken care of and are healthy. We are all spayed/neutered and up to date on our shots. Here are details:

Lily - I'm a very pretty short hair brown Tabby. I love to sit in your lap and be petted. You will know how happy I am with my very loud purr. I know even though cats can live to be twenty and beyond, I am going to have a very hard time finding someone to love me again, hardly anyone wants to adopt a cat that is thirteen years old.

Louie - I'm a handsome short hair Tuxedo. I love to sit and look out the window. I love being petted and I am a friendly guy. Every time you say my name I will meow back. I am nine years old.

Willie - I'm a handsome gray Tabby. (Sorry about the glowing eyes, I am very scared in this picture while someone chasing me around with a camera). I am the most upset at losing my owner and all the changes that are going on, so I need someone very understanding that can let me come around in my own time, I may not be my usually happy self at first, I need someone extra special. I am thirteen years old.
