WE ARE A NON FOR PROFIT - NO KILL PROGRAM THAT HAS PLACED MORE THAN 200 PETS IN NEARLY NINE YEARS. WE CONSIDER HOMELESS PETS (CRITTERS OF ALL SHAPES & SIZES) A RESPONSIBILITY... YOURS... MINE... AND OURS... WE OFFER PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE, RESCUES, AND FOSTER PROGRAMS. DONATIONS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME. WE ENCOURAGE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM. We need you... the orphans need you!
Due to health issues, I am told that it is mandatory to make a few significant life changes. The necessity of these changes has become somewhat urgent. I love what we do and intend to be involved, on some level, my entire life. However, I am unable to continue in my current capacity. We are attempting to address this issue in a proactive manner. Foster families, volunteers, family, friends, and other rescue groups have been kind enough to provide invaluable assistance and support.
My concern is long term and permanent care of the orphans I currently have at my home/facility. I do not want these wonderful animals to end up in a shelter or euthanized due to an unexpected set back with my health. Again, many folks have assisted and supported us in our somewhat unexpected and urgent quest. We know placement of these orphans will take time and the "right" families. We are more than willing to apply patience and tenacity... as I plan to be around to see the win/win outcome for all of our orphans as well as many future critters that are sure to come my way... it is inevitable... strays and orphans have crossed my path since I was a child... at forty + they are still comin'... at eighty, I will still be waitin' and watchin'... prepared to be there in every possible way.
