Who We Are
We are a shelter run by the City of Harrisonville. We try and reunite the animals with their owners. If this is not possible we try and find good homes for all that we can. Shelter Hours of Operation are:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10-5
Tuesday and Thursday 10-6
Sunday closed
The shelter is closed on most Federal Holidays.
Adopting a Friend
Adoption rates are as follows:
Male cats $50-55
Female cats and male dogs $65
Female dogs $75-85
*adoption fees may be slightly more for animals in heat or extra large
dogs*
The adoption fee pays for spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchipping. There is also a 14.99 fee to enroll your pet's microchip in the HomeAgain Advanced Pet Recovery Program. All animals are "fixed" before going to their new home.
Volunteering and Donations
We accept donations of food, blankets, flea control, shampoo and any thing that we can use for the animals.

Take 71 South out of Kansas City MO to the second Harrisonville Exit this will be 2 Hwy West. Go West to the South Outer Rd (Clearwater) . Turn Left and we are the second Drive to the right.
