Sandy's Boys!!
Did you know that black dogs and cats are the hardest to find a home for? These boys have been at our shelter since birth and they deserve a home! Please help these big guys out and pass it on that they are big, beautiful, boys that prance around in the most prestigious way! They have been in training the past 4 months and are doing great with heel, sit, stay, come, off and down. What perfect pets they would make for someone.

We now have a gift and thrift shop. The shop accepts donations of lightly used or new items . All proceeds from the sales are used to help the animals under our care. The shop is located at 207 Schiller St. in Hermann, MO. Hours are Wed-Thurs 10a-4p, Fri-Sat 10a-6p and Sun 12p-4p. Phone number is 573.486.2025.
We use Patented Kuranda Dog Beds because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. If you would like to donate a bed to us, click here.
Who We Are
We are located just north and east of Hermann, Missouri, about 8 miles away. From Hermann take Hwy 19 North and turn East on Hwy 94, go 6 miles and turn North on Massas Creek Road and go about 3 1/2 miles. We have a large yard and 2 buildings full of dogs and cats. We are a non-profit and no-kill animal shelter. We are just starting to get organized and could use more volunteers, especially volunteers with fund raising experience.
Adopting a friend
Adopting or fostering from our shelter is a great way to help. We have applications on our website for you to fill out and send in. There is a short process of meeting and sometimes a walk through of the pet's new home before adopting the animal. Our adoption rates are $150.00 for dogs and $100.00 for cats. All of our pets are up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative, spayed or neutered and micro-chipped.
