News AHS now offers full service pet boarding in our new facility! Expanded schedules now provide many options for dog and puppy training.

Who We Are The Society is a private, non-profit association, dedicated to the belief that there is a unique and reciprocal bond between humans and animals that can be a vital and positive influence in society. We offer educational and therapeutic programs for people, as well as humane shelter and adoption services for animals, as a means of serving the partners in that bond.

Adopting a friend The Animal Humane Society is looking for persons who are willing to provide permanent, loving homes for the animals at our shelter. We ask that you consider the time and money required to own a pet before you make the decision to adopt. Owning a pet is a lifetime commitment!
