News
Please be aware that pets left in vehicles could die of hypothermia or heat stroke very easily. In Winter, Leaving a car running can expose your pet to toxic exhaust fumes which can harm them. The frigid temperatures also can cause irreversible damage to your pets. In Summer, even with a window cracked or down, the heat builds up rapidly inside and your pets can get damaged as a result. If you need to go shopping, please leave your pets at home. They will thank you.
Please be aware it is very important to keep your pets safe when it comes to antifreeze. Antifreeze is TOXIC to your pets. It is sweet to the taste and will be eaten. Please clean up any spills IMMEDIATELY! If ingestion does occur, contact your vet right away! Also, please do not leave your pets in your vehicle. They can get over heated very quickly. It doesn't matter if the windows are cracked because the severe heat builds up and your pet can become brain damaged or even die in a very short period of time. If they do become over heated please contact your veterinarian IMMEDIATELY.
Do not give bones or table scraps to your pets. The majority of the time they will get upset stomachs, vomitting, and diarrhea. Bones can damage stomach lining, throats, and may require emergency surgery to be removed which can be very expensive. Table scraps can also enable your pet to gain weight which could lead to other health problems.
