Who We Are

Feline Rescue is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Our primary goal is to provide shelter and care for stray, abused and abandoned cats until they are adopted into suitable homes. We promote positive community interaction through education, spay/neuter programs and other activities that enable all people to enjoy the friendship of cats. No cat shall be destroyed except when it is suffering and beyond medical treatment.

Volunteer Program

Feline Rescue is an all-volunteer organization. Volunteers are needed and welcomed for fostering cats and kittens, working at the shelter, special events, adoption counseling, technology projects, and other activities and tasks.

Adopting a friend

Potential adopters are assisted by an adoption counselor who is familiar with the personalities of available cats and/or kittens. All adopters will complete an application and sign a contract agreeing to the terms and conditions of the adoption. Feline Rescue, Inc. reserves the right to deny an adoption if it is not in the best interest of the cat/kitten.

Fees

Adoption fees are $90-$100. The fee may be more for a purebred cat or purebred kitten or depending on a cat's unique circumstance. The shelter is now reopened for adoptions. Please come visit us!

Gift Sponsorships-The "Purrfect" Gift for all Occasions!

Give a gift sponsorship for one of Feline Rescue's "shy" cats and help us to continue caring for some of the long-term shelter residents. Purchase a sponsorship and give it as a gift for a Birthday, Mother's Day, Anniversary, Father's Day, Wedding, Graduation or for any other special day or occasion. Feline Rescue will send your designated person a photo and bio of the sponsored feline along with a certificate and an invitation to visit the shelter. For a copy of the order form -Gift Sponsorship
