Happy New Year to all animal lovers. MCAHS is excited for the new year and all it has to offer.
MCAHS is having a Bark a Thon this year! The event will take place Saturday May 17th 12:00 to 4:00pm at Belle Prairie Park (aka Morrison County Park)
Events at the Bark a thon are: Dog walk, if you are interested in participating please call MCAHS or e-mail for a pledge form and rules and requirements. Raffle, tickets will be on sale at the Bark a thon and before. K-9 demonstration, Free childrens activities, vendor and sponsor booths, a bake sale and used book sale.
MCAHS is looking for volunteers to help at the Bark a thon, if you are interested please call for more information.
Who We Are
MCAHS opened its doors the fall of 1995. As of 2005 we have helped over 7500 animals. MCAHS is a 501(C)3 non profit organization that counts on donations to help run the facility and care for the animals, donaitons are always welcome. Visitors and new members are always welcome to come in and visit us during business hours. We are also always looking for volunteers over the age of 14. Younger children may volunteer with an adult if they so choose.
If you have a lost or found pet, give us a call right away. We have impound agreements with the city of Little Falls as well as over 15 other cities and townships.
Surrenders are another way pets come into our shelter. Unfortunately we often do not have the room right away. We take in animals on a first-call, first-serve basis if the shelter has an open kennel.
Adopting a friend
Wanting to adopt a pet? Come on in and take a look at what we have. All adopters sign a contract. They agree to have their new pet spayed or neutered if not already done so and given a rabies vaccination. MCAHS does check to make sure this is done.

We are located right next to City Hall in Little Falls. When entering the Little Falls area, please take the through city exit, County Road 76, or otherwise called Haven Road. Go to 7th Avenue NE take a right. We are the second building on the right hand side. Call for more information.
