Who We Are
Memory of Monroe Scottie Rescue is a 501 c 3 organization
dedicated to finding homes for Scotties in need. Since 1997, Memory of Monroe
Scottie Rescue has placed Scotties and an occasional Westie in their forever
homes. All of our dogs are home-fostered and loved as a family member before
their adoption. This organization was founded in memory of a wonderful Scottie,
Monroe. Monroe was a homeless boy and very ill before he found his way to us. He
changed our lives and the love of Scotties began.
Adopting a friend
Great care is taken to match the Scottie with the most
suitable home for his or her needs. All interested parties must fill out an
application to be considered for a rescue from this organization. We perform a
home visit and veterinarian checks prior to placement. We will always take the
dog back for any reason should the new family not be able to keep him/her. We
adopt out to families in the states of Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North
Dakota, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Adoptive families are asked to drive all or a
good portion of the way to get their new family member. To fill out an
application online, please visit www.memoryofmonroe.com
and click on the Application link.
