Our Featured Felines

We have several senior residents that really need to be only cats (some would be alright with one other quiet cat), and find new loving stable homes where they can live in peace. If you have room in your heart to adopt or foster one of these cats, please look for Avery, Kitty and Spunky in our Pet List above.

Please visit our web site at www.caring-for-cats.org or come to our shelter to see all our wonderful adoptable cats.

News

We urgently need good farm homes for some of our most feral residents! If you have a farm or barn, and care for your outdoor cats by providing food, shelter and annual vaccinations, parasite management and other veterinary care, please give us a call, or email us at nancy@caring-for-cats.org

You can learn more about us at www.caring-for-cats.org.

Our web site lists our upcoming off-site adoption events, provides useful reference materials and links about cat care and cat behavior, and provides information on how you can help our shelter through volunteering, foster care, or donations, sponsorships or mermorials. Also included is a list of the cats that we have recently placed.

Who We Are

Caring for Cats is an all-volunteer, no-kill, non-profit shelter and foster network for cats and kittens. Most cats at the shelter are free to roam and interact with our human volunteers and other cats. The shelter is a safe, humane, and caring place for cats looking for worthy human companions.

Adopting a friend

The cats that are listed on Petfinder are adoptable cats that are at our shelter or in our foster network. You can see many of the cats at the shelter. To see one of our foster cats, please contact the shelter and we will arrange for you to meet the cat that you are interested in.
