Who we are...
Wonderland Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization made up of concerned citizens whose main purpose is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of human education in the area of proper pet care and the benefits of spay/neuter.
It is the policy of the Society to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection in the area served by the society; to seek to return lost animals to their owners; to seek suitable homes for animals that are at the Wexford County Animal Shelter (which is a separate organization from our own); and to provide financial assistance for people who want to spay or neuter their pet.
Wonderland Humane Society's goal is to help curb the overflow of unwanted animals that end in euthanasia.
Shelter Hours:
Monday - Saturday -- 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
Shelter Fees:
Dogs - $40.00 Cats - $25.00
$25.00 will be refunded when the pet is spayed or neutered.
(Note: Michigan State law requires the spaying or neutering of all animals adopted from shelters.)
Directions:
From Business 131 (Mitchell St.), turn west on 13th Street. Go 3 blocks to 6th Avenue. Turn South (left), go 2 blocks to shelter on east side of road.
