Who We Are...
Animal Pals is a non-profit and qualified 501(c)3 charitable organization who rescue cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. We are just a small, home based group of volunteers. We do not have an adoption center and our pets are fostered in people's homes. We work mostly with trapping, spaying and releasing of feral cats in the Macomb County area. Our goal is to provide care for animals in need while evaluating their behavior and personality so we can find the best possible home for the animal.
Adopting a friend...
We want to make sure that our pets will be going to loving and responsible pet owners. There is a screening process along with an adoption application that we require. We also prefer a trial period where the animal stays with the potential owners before a decision is made to officially adopt. This way owners and pets have time to adjust and then a good decision can be made if the home will be a permanent one. Sorry, but we cannot ship our animals.
Foster Homes Needed...
We are always in need of foster homes. If you are willing to house a dog or cat until they can find a permanent home, please let us know. Send an email to AnimalPals@wowway.com with subject of "Foster Home Available". There is a screening process for this also, because we want to make sure the animal is taken care of properly.
Making a Donation...
We are in constant need of cat and/or kitten food, dog and/or puppy food, litter, crates for transporting, cleaning supplies. Please contact us at AnimalPals@wowway.com if you have any of these items you wish to donate.
