WOW, because of donations from a few loving families, they have made it possible for me to have my procedure done. I was supposed to have it done the day after Thanksgiving, but I was sick, so we have to wait a few weeks for it to be done. A HUGE thank you for the donations, very much appreciated, and now I know dreams CAN come true. HUGS
Hi, I'm Liza, and I just wanted to say a few words. Like most puppies, I like a good bone, cuddling with my stuffed "babies", a soft spot in a nice patch of green grass, and playing playing playing. Sometimes though, if I play for too long, I get really sore. That's no fun. The nice people here say there is something wrong with my hips, and that's what makes me sore. I get to go to see Dr. Weaver sometimes and he makes me feel better -- he's so great! And the people here give me medicine that helps too. But sometimes I dream that I'm able to run and play just as long as I want without it making me hurt -- like other puppies do -- and for a family of my own to play with too! I might not be able to do those things today, but I'm hoping someday my dreams will come true! Come and visit me soon!
XOXO,
Liza
We've been taking Liza to meet with Dr. Weaver for acupuncture treatments and chiropractic care for the last few months. In that period of time, she has gone from a sad little girl who barely moved to behaving like any happy, healthy, 12 month old puppy! Because of the way she has responded to these treatments, Liza has become an outstanding candidate for a procedure called Gold Bead Injections. This is a kind of "permanent acupuncture" which, if successful, will eliminate the need for additional acupuncture treatments, chiropractic treatments, and (best of all) all that pain medication!
To learn more about Gold Bead Injections click here or here. You can read all the details about Liza by going to her special page.
HELP US MAKE LIZA PAIN-FREE
Help us raise the $1,100 needed for Liza's Gold Bead Injection treatments. If successful, this procedure will eliminate the need for additional acupuncture treatments, chiropractic treatments, and (best of all) pain medication! If you can help us with a donation, please make your check payable to Western Ave. Animal Hospital or GSP Rescue-Liza. A donation receipt will be mailed to your return address for tax purposes. Please mail donations to:
