Pet list is up to date as of December 26, 2008
Our featured cat of the month is Victoria!
Victoria is a large gentle lady with a very beautiful face. She loves to play. Her favorite toys are feather toys. Victoria is a very high jumper and will play for a very long time by herself picking up her toy mice and throwing them into the air. Victoria really deserves a nice home. Her owner put her out when she was pregnant. A neighbor placed all Victoria's kittens and brought her to the shelter. She is a lovely girl and will be a nice pet for some lucky family.
The next event sponsored by the NEADY Cats will be the "Lights of Love" to be held at the shelter on December 13th from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Remember your pets of long ago, or honor the pets you share your life with now, by placing lights on our holiday tree. Everyone attending the tree lighting will receive a special holiday tree ornament. All proceeds (100%) will benefit the NEADY kitties. For more information call Marilyn at 978-422-5116, or visit our web site at http://www.neadycats.org
The NEADY Cats store is open everyday from 9 am to 12 noon. We have logo sweatshirts, logo hats, all natural soaps and moisturizers, and lots of other reasonably priced items that would be perfect for the cat lover in your life. Check out the store on our web site at http:// www.neadycats.org.
NEADY Cats is a small non profit, no kill, all volunteer cat shelter located on the National Training Campus of NEADS in Princeton, MA.
It is the mission of NEADY Cats to place adoptable cats and kittens in loving "forever" homes, promote spaying and neutering, and provide information on feline health care to the public.
In February of 2000 we became a non-profit organization. Your donations are tax-deductible.
Our goal is to place 80 - 100 cats each fiscal year (which ends August 31st). Last fiscal year we surpassed our goal by placing 168 cats!
All adoptions are by appointment only. We require that all our cats are kept as inside cats. We have a lifetime return policy. If you can no longer keep the cat, you can return it to us and we will find it another home. Read our complete adoption policy on our website at www.neadycats.org
All adoptions of cats and kittens are done by appointment only. Call Marilyn at 508.835.6461 or e-mail marilyn at tweety7437@charter.net for a time to see the kitties and directions to the shelter.
