Oreo!

Hi! My name is Oreo and I am a sweet, energetic happy go lucky puppy. I was tied to a park bench and abandoned, left to fend for myself, but my foster family found me before I fell into the wrong hands. I am about 6- 8 months old and I love to go on walks, play with my toys and lounge around on my back for belly rubs. My foster family has two large male lab crosses and a 2 year old son that are my new best friends. I like to play a lot with my four legged friends and we get along well, but they don’t have as much energy as I do and they let me know when it is quiet time. My 2 year old human friend likes to follow me around and pet me. I really enjoy his company but I have to be careful that I don’t knock him over when I get excited. I have no problem at all sharing my food with my human friends and even if they want to take my treats from me, I don’t mind. I have had many baths, my nails trimmed and my ears cleaned with no problems. I am perfecting my house training and doing very well. I am working on my crate training and enjoy having a space to call my own. I am looking for my forever home that will give me plenty of exercise, love and a big place in their heart!
Who We Are
PittieLove Rescue Inc is a 501c3 organization consisting of individuals dedicated to the care, understanding, rehabilitation and adoption of American Pit Bull Terriers, one of the most abused and misunderstood dogs of all time. We work closely with local pounds, shelters, animal controls and other rescue groups. We rescue dogs that are often on "death row", strays and occassionally owner surrender dogs. Once the dogs are rescued, they are placed into loving foster homes, provided with quality veterinary care, lots of socialization with people and animals of all ages. Our dogs are up to date on their shots and are always spayed and neutered. All of our volunteers are experienced Pit Bull owners. Our adopters and potential adopters receive detailed education about the breed and thorough information about the dog they are interested in adopting. Each dogs temperament is carefully evaluated. We cannot accept dogs into our program that show aggression towards others animals. We do recognize the breeds potential of developing this trait so we prefer to place as only pets or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. Our strict adoption policies that include home visits, personal and vet reference checks help to ensure that our rescued dogs go to thier forever homes and never suffer from abuse or neglect again.
Donations Needed
Donations are always needed and very much appreciated. All donations go directly to the care and medical needs of our dogs. Including but not limited to, spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, and high quality dog food.
