Crystal is a very sweet cat who loves people and doesn't mind other cats. She has a limp but that does not bother her. She does not need any surgery.

Who We Are
We are a non-profit organization and are 501 (c)(3) tax exempt. We help homeless animals find loving homes and maintain and support feral cats by providing spay, neuter, return, shelter, food and necessary vet care. We have successfully performed TNR (trap, neuter and return) of various feral cat colonies in Middleboro, Carver, Rochester and Bridgewater.
We do not have a shelter. Our work is mainly performed through foster care. We are always looking for good caring people to help us foster homeless animals until they can find their forever homes. Please contact us if you would like more information on our Foster Care Program.

Steps of the Adoption process:
1. Fill out application form and return completed.
2. NEAR representative will contact you if more information is needed.
3. NEAR representative will do vet and reference checks and contact you to set up a home visit.
4. NEAR will perform home visit with adoptee if possible (distance)
5. NEAR evaluates your application, vet check, reference check, and home visit and determines if the pet you chose is THE match for you and your family.
6. Successful adoption will be concluded by signing the adoption contract and payment of the appropriate tax-deductible adoption donation to NEAR ($90.00/cat and $150.00/dog).
Consider the average vet care cost for a cat at a veterinarian:
Spay: $ 120.00
rabies vaccine: $ 25.00
distemper vaccines (2): $ 45.00
de-wormer (2): $ 15.00
exams (2): $ 90.00
de-flea (2): $ 24.00
fecal test: $ 25.00
FIV/FeLV test: $ 65.00
Total: $ 409.00
NEAR's average cost for the above with the generosity of various veterinary clinics: $ 200.00
