Can you help?

We are always in need of foster homes. If you have time and patience and would like to be a part of our foster group, please request information. Or if you can help transport animals to their forever home, we welcome your assistance.

Who We Are

Oakwood ia a 501 (c)(3)nonprofit, working with companion animal rescue. We have moved our shelter to an unincorporated area. Our space is limited for canine at the present, so foster homes are still greatly needed.

Adopting a friend

If we do not have listed the type of pet you are seeking, please email us and state your desires. We receive calls from people that have animals for adoption regularly.

How to Adoption

Email us for an online adoption application. We work with transportation groups for out of area adoptions. Adoption fees include Spay/Neuter, UTD, worming, flea preventive: Dogs: $125.00 Cats: $75.00
