Who We Are

We are Junction City Animal Control, part of the Junction City Police Dept. We are the shelter to house strays and turn-ins. We work closly with the local Friends of Animals in trying to place animals for adoption or rescue. Friends of Animals web site is www.foa-ks.com.

Adopting a friend

Adoption Contract must be filled out at shelter. There is a $20.00 adoption fee. All animals must be Spayed/Neutered by State law. Surgery deposit is required and will be refunded upon receipt of notice from vet of surgery. Surgery deposits are - CATS - Male $40.00; Female $58.00; DOGS - Male $65.00; Female $74.00.

Take exit 295 off of I-70 and go North on US Rt 77 to Ks Rt 57 turn east - go about 1 mile. Shelter is on right, located with Junction City Public Works.
