Please HELP us! Autumn Acres is not accepting any mixed/all-breed dogs. We are still accepting Newfoundlands. We have quite a few all-breed dogs to focus on placing. Thanks for understanding. Since we are a small rescue not funded by any national group, we are not able to save dogs and puppies from puppy mills without your help. Won't you consider becoming a foster parent to one of the dogs we have that is looking for a home of their own? Or won't you consider helping us via donating to us? We are located on 10 acres about 30-45 mins from Kansas City. We get to know the animal before listing him/her for adoption so that we can truthfully represent the animal. We are always looking for help taking care of the many animals. If you'd like to volunteer just email me adoptashelterpet@hotmail.com

Adopting a friend

Our adoption process is pretty straightforward. We do screen homes, but try to make it as painless as possible.

We are a rescue group that does this out of our home. We are always in need of foster homes, please email me if you'd like to foster one of the pets in need.
