All of our pets are very special and deserving of homes. We aren't always able to keep our pet list completely up-to-date, so you will get the most current information by doing so.

We have many wonderful pets just waiting for new homes. Sadly, our animals don't have a long time to find a family. Please take a look, and if you are interested in any of the pets listed, contact us right away!
Who We Are
Brown County Humane Society is located about 45 minutes west of St. Joseph, MO. Animals do not always have a lot of time to be adopted, because they are housed in a veterinary clinic and space is limited. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please call or email right away to check on the status of a dog or cat.
