You just have to read Gimpy's story!!! He has the happiest of endings to his rough life!!
Gimpy is a great cat! He is so sweet and loving! He craves attention!! This sweet 5 year old cat was a stray all his life!! Now, he is with the rescue and no longer having to fend for himself. He has FIV, which is the feline form of HIV. Since he has this he cannot be around other cats for the chance he may give it to other cats. Therefore, for the last couple months he has been in a cage. Poor guy!! We have no other choice though! (Wait don't stop reading yet!!) Here's the goal for his happy ending....
We are trying to raise money to get Gimpy placed with a senior citizen in a senior living community. The pet deposit is around $300 at the communities I have checked into.
We are trying to raise the money in donations, so there will be no cost to the senior citizen (since most are on a fixed income). We are trying our best to get him placed as soon as possible, since he has already been with the rescue many months!!!

All the money raised from the magnets will go towards finding Gimpy a home! GImpy is a cat who is missing half of his front left paw. Also, he is FIV positive, he has to go to a home with no other cats.
We are trying to raise money for a pet deposit @ a senior living community to place him with a senior citizen. This way we can save his life, since he was going to be euthanized.
FOSTERS NEEDED!!!!
We are in need of fosters for kittens and cats. There are so many kittens right now and with the help of fosters we can save and help more kittens and cats!!

I am a one person rescue group that specializes in cats and kittens. I try to help in any way I can!
Adopting a friend
-Adult cats have been tested for FeLV (feline leukemia) and FIV (Feline AIDS).
-They are vaccinated appropriately for their age for distemper, rabies and feline leukemia.
-The cats get monthly flea treatments as a preventive measure.
There is an adoption fee required at the time of adoption to offset the medical costs and food/litter expenses. This includes a certificate for discounted spay/neuter, a first set of shots, and a fecal check offered at Southside Animal Hospital.
Southside Animal Hospital has teamed up with me on this certificate. This helps you and us to ensure the pet gets spayed/neutered and vaccinated appropriately.
