Who We Are

Heaven Sent Chihuahua Rescue (HSCR) is a non-profit, all volunteer, group committed to the rescue and adoption of stray, lost, unwanted, abandoned, abused or neglected Chihuahuas. Our purpose is to help control the pet population, promote the quality of life for domestic animals, educate the community of the humane care and treatment of all animals and prevent the suffering of stray and homeless Chihuahuas. All of our rescued Chihuahuas are provided with a medical exam that includes, but is not limited to, spay/neuter, vaccinations, parasite control and heartworm testing. All of our rescued Chihuahuas live in the private homes of our volunteers where they can be properly socialized, house-broken, crate-trained and unconditionally loved until they are adopted. We are dedicated to acquiring approved and loving homes for the Chihuahuas in our care.

Adopting a friend

Because we want to make the best match possible for each dog, we do not place dogs on a first come, first served basis. Great care is taken to ensure the home and family that is chosen is the absolute best suited for the dog. Dogs will only be adopted to families that are within reasonable driving distance of the dog's current foster home. Or, once approved for adoption, the adopter must be willing to personally pick up the dog.
