We are currently postponing our Pet's 'n Pals in the Park this year, we will let everyone know if it will be rescheduled anytime soon.
Who We Are
A humane society/animal shelter/animal control for the City of Hobart. Strays from Portage & Lake Station also come to us.
Adopting a Friend
Are you lonesome or looking for a true & loyal friend? Then you want a dog or cat, or a few of each. We also often have Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Gerbils, Ferrets and Rabbits. Do not hesitate to call us, we will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
Volunteering and Donations
Volunteers needed to walk dogs, grooming cats & dogs & for special fundraising. Monetary donations always accepted, as well as dry cat & dog food (no color), canned cat food, kitty litter, cleaning & paper supplies, Homeless Homers, Purina Cat & Dog food weight circles.

Sponsor Opportunities
You can also donate through sponsorship. We have 4 different ways, so that you can choose the best option that fits you. You can:
Sponsor-A-Cage, with a donation of $100, $200, or $300 you can have a plaque displayed on a cage in our cat room, or either our small dog kennel or large dog kennel. Limited space available!!
Sponsor-A-Brick, with a donation of $50 you can have a Park Brick in our dog walk park. You can choose to have a picture of a cat or dog on the brick and are allowed up to 13 characters and 3 lines.
Sponsor-A-Spay or Neuter, with a donation of, $50 for a Cat, or $70 for a Dog, these fees include the altering as well as a rabies shot. This option helps in the adoption of an animal.
Become a Member!! We have several types of memberships, from $5 for a Junior Membership on up! We also have Regular Memberships, Family Memberships or become a Supporting Member. With a membership you receive our quarterly Newsletter, as well as knowing that your donation has made a difference. All money that is received for donations is put toward the animals!!
