Who We Are
Indiana Russell Rescue has been in existence as a sub-rescue unit of the JRTCA Russell Rescue group since 1998. We have a network of volunteers and foster homes throughout the state and we take in full-blooded JRTs from homes and from shelters.
Adopting a Friend
Adopting a JRT from Indiana Russell Rescue is a process. You must fill out an application for adoption(which we can provide to you, or can be gotton online from JRTCA HomePage) and then the application will be processed to make sure you have the right kind of situation for a JRT. You will be notified one way or another about your acceptance or refusal of application. The online application mentioned above will only come directly to me if you live in Indiana. If you live outside of Indiana and are SERIOUS about adopting one of the dogs we have, please e-mail me for details.
Volunteering and Donations
Indiana Russell Rescue accepts donations of gently used dog related items and new things as well. We are in need of crates, leashes, collars and food to feed rescues. Use the contact info below if you are interested in donating. We are also in need of foster homes throughout the state. Please contact me directly to discuss this possibility.
We also have Dog Treat Cookbooks, called "Russellin' Up Some Grub" for sale, all proceeds going to support Indiana Jack Russells in need. Please e-mail if interested in purchasing one for $10.00.
Come Visit Us!
Indiana Russell Rescue is a rescue group that has many homes, administrative and fosters are all included in this network. The main administrative hub is in Linton, IN. From Indy, take I-70 to the Brazil exit, then turn onto SR 59 and take it all the way into Linton. From the south, take US 41 to the Sullivan exit for Linton and Dugger, turn onto SR 54 and take it into Linton.
