Who We Are
River City Pet Rescue is not for profit group of individuals who rescue orphaned, abandoned, or abused dogs from local shelters. We do not take animals from the public.
Breed misidentification is a scary thing in a time breed specific legislation is growing.... Pit Bull dogs are often blamed for dog attacks that may very well have been caused by an another breed...Can you identify a pit bull?
Foster Care and Donations
RCPR provides medical care, vaccinations, worming and altering upon recieving any animal. We provide all foster homes with food, bedding and a crate (if necessary). We gladly accept donations of cat or dog food, preferably containing no by-products, bedding, dog houses, cleaning products, toys, crates, ect...
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting an animal from us, please email us at
kwilliams06@verizon.net and ask us for an adoption application. The reason for this is to familiarize ourselves with your situation and find the best possible match for you and your new companion.
Come Visit Us!
Since we are home based, please contact the foster home directly to make arrangements to meet one of our pets.
