Well we moved!!! Oh My Gosh I did not realize i had so much junk! We are now located in lower Illinios. ....but will probably retail the same name and still recieve animals from that area. we are now located in Oquawka Il. That means Yellow banks. We are very close to Delabar state park. Thankyou again for choosing a rescue chow!

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who helps us get these poor kids to their forever homes! With out everyones help it just simply is not possible.
Who We Are
We are a small, independent chow-chow rescue located in Western Il. We are primarily asked to take homeless chows from shelters in the midwest and prepare them for adoption into loving permanent homes. All of our adoptees are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm checked if old enough and groomed.
Regretfully we are no longer able to take in owner surrenders that are not spayed or nuetered or up to date on shots.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption process includes an application which can be recieved via email, filled out and returned by email. A reference check, home visit and an adoption contract completes the process.
Our adoption fees are 175.00 for a mix chow and 275.00 for a purebred chow. All being fully vetted, groomed and ready to go!
We do not "hold dogs", and our placement of dogs is based one whats best for the dog.
We could always use foster homes as well as donations. Our wish list is good dog food, clean old blakets for kennel floors,straw for bedding outside,towels, paper towels and some canned dog food for treats. Donations go towards shots and vet bills. Please open your heart and give.
