"PLEASE HELP"

"GABBY"

Gabby is an adoreable 2 yr old Am. Staff. She was hit by a car, X - Rays show no broken bones, and so far no internal damage other than swelling, we just have to wait & see if she goes potty. This has been a very tough year for our rescue, even came close to shuting our doors. We rely soley on adoption fees and donations to stay open. We rescued 126 dogs this year and of these were 12 heartworm positive (all treated) and 4 hit by car each costing $300.00 to $600.00 we lost 3 of the 4 and the surviving one was returned to her owners, as they could not afford the surgery to repair her leg. Out of 126 rescued we only had 33 adopted. You can do the math. Feeding all these guys alone cost around $100.00 a week. PLEASE PLEASE donate and help us keep going. Gabby still has to be spayed and the big one tested for heartworms. Paypal address is gcrs@hughes.net or you can call and donate directly to our vet 770-258-3256 UPDATE: Gabby is a great girl, super sweet with people, however she does NOT do well with other dogs she will have to be the only 4 legged baby in the home and will not be adopted to a home with small children. Her personality is awesome come on out and fall in love with this sweetie pie.

"FEATURED HORSE"

"ROMEO"

Romeo has been with us sence March you can see the list in avaliable pets to see how he has progressed. Romeo is a great horse, he was rode a few weeks ago by a 9 year old little girl alone passing cars and all. He is a great trail horse and fast as lightning if you ask him to. He is 6 years old and needs his forever home. There are many horses in need of rescue, I have to keep turning away because I dont have room for another horse, so as soon as Romeo gets his home I will be able to help another one so you will be rescueing 2 horses. Come on out and take him for a ride you will not be dissapointed.

PLEASE HELP

Please help support our rescue. It cost on average $75.00 - $100.00 weekly to feed all our critters. Then there is the cost of Shots, spay & neuters, heart worm testing, heart worm prevention and treatment, flee baths and flee prevention. This is for the easy ones. There are the ones that come in with skin conditions that require a series of dips and medications, and the ones that have been hit by a car or injured in other ways, this requires x-rays surgery and usually extended stays at the vet. The cost can be tremendous at times. Any small amount will help. $20.00 will buy 50 lbs of dog food. If you would like to make a donation you can do it on PayPal to gcrs@hughes.net.

Who We Are

We are a NON-PROFIT rescue group. Most all animals here have been pulled from Death-Row only because their time was up. Their forever homes are out there somewhere and they deserve the chance to be found no matter how long it may take. Would we Put to Death children in foster homes and orphanages at 5 years of age because their forever family had not come along. Certianly Not. It is no different with these sweet babies. And they only get 7 days at most places. What kind of chance is that? Jeremiah 27:5~ With My great power and outstretched arm, I made the earth and its people and the ANIMALS.... 1 Timothy 4:4 ~ For EVERY creature of God is good, and NOTHING to be refused, if it be recieved with thanksgiving. A rescued animal is the most thankful creature alive. A kind word or a pat on the head will get you unconditional love. Proverbs 12:10~ A righteous man cares for the needs of his animals.. All the animals have been checked for temperment, kids, cats, other dogs will also be in this temperment check and you will be informed if there are any things your future sweet baby may not do well with. Any cats or kittens will be inside adoptions ONLY. At 4 to 6 months we will come out to do a "Happy Tails" check on you and your new Sweet Baby. And if allowed Pictures of your family with them to post on our web sight. Any donations will be appreciated....dog food, cat food, treats, news paper, old blankets or towels, dog houses, fenceing, crates, kennels, carriers, dog beds, cat litter, Hay, Sweet Feed, advantage or frontline, food bowls, printer paper, stamps, envelopes, collars, leashes, "TOYS", any monetary donations are accepted and we love gift certificates to pet stores and office supply stores. If you are interested in fostering or adopting one of our animals you can call for a list of what we have available. 678-463-9131. I can not take in owner surrendered animals or strays. I do not have the funding for this. Call your local Humaine Society or Animal Shelter. Thank you for your support. And remember help control our pet population have your pets spayed or netured. Save a life!!!! Adopt a shelter animal......DO NOT buy from breeders or pet stores.

Adoption fees And info

The adoption fees are $150.00 for dogs, $125.00 for cats. ALL ANIMALS WILL BE ALTERED BEFORE THEY CAN GO HOME WITH YOU!!! The adoption fee helps cover the cost of Vaccines and spay or neuter, worming, vet check, heart worm testing and prevention, flee and tick prevention And micro chipping. There will be some that will have a special adoption fee depending on the cost of their special needs to save their lives. PLEASE understand we operate only on our adoption fees and donations. PLEASE do not call me and ask that I reduce the fee or give you an animal for free, some of the animals we spend hundreds of dollars on to save them and sometimes we have hit by car dogs we spend hundreds of dollars on trying to save them only to loose them in the end. We do not make ANY profit from the adoption fees, so I am sorry but I cannot and will not give away my rescue babies.

Donate a BedWe have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

NEVER ADVERTISE "FREE TO GOOD HOME"

Unfortunately, "free" is too often seen as "worthless" in the eye of the beholder. This is how some people see your give-away pet: FREE bait to train fighting dogs and greyhounds FREE snake food FREE sacrifice for satanic rituals FREE animal for malicious pranks FREE to a good home to breed indiscriminately FREE fish bait FREE money from the research lab FREE animal to set on fire FREE animal to insert a firecracker into PLEASE don't offer your companions FREE to a good home unless you just don't care what happens to them. Volunteers who work endless hours to save pets from the horror of abuse and homelessness bring this message to you. Pet overpopulation is a growing problem: There are 45 cats and dogs for every one person born. Only one out of 10 dogs born ever find a permanent home. Only one out of 12 cats born ever find a permanent home. 800 dogs and cats are destroyed each HOUR in the U.S. because there are not enough homes for them!
