Donate a BedWe have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

Did you know that anyone who sells, offers to sell,or exchanges, or offers for adoption dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, or other animals customarily obtained as pets in this state is REQUIRED to have a dealer license issued by the Georgia Department of Agriculture? IF you know of unlicensed breeders or dealers, please call the Animal Protection Division at 404-656-4914. Your call will help to stop the pet over-population problem and will help to ensure that all breeders and dealers provide proper care for animals and will be accountable for the animals' welfare. Who We Are

All Paws Considered is an all volunteer non-profit(501-C3), no-kill pet rescue organization licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Our goal is to rescue neglected, abused and homeless animals and provide them with needed medical care and rehabilitation until their permanent home can be found. We have a small network of foster homes and try to help as many animals as we can, including those that are ill or have physical disabilities. All of our pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. They are also up-to-date on all vaccinations. We are dedicated to helping our adoptable animals find good homes where they will be safe, well cared for and loved for the rest of their lives. All Paws Considered was started by a mother-daughter team in July of 2001 after finding two stray dogs. "Shep" and "Buddy" were found in our neighborhood in terrible shape. Both were severely malnourished, had heartworm, and appeared to have had a very rough life for being such young dogs. Numerous attempts were made to locate owners--all were unsuccessful. Knowing what would happen to them if taken to the local shelter forced us to take matters into our own hands. So here we are today, APC Rescue, started out from the love we had for our German "SHEP"herd and his little "BUDDY" .

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in adopting a new family member from our organization, please contact us by telephone or e-mail so we can send you an application questionnaire. We will then review the application with you. Home checks are generally REQUIRED prior to every adoption. Adoption fees vary ($150 to $225) depending on medical expenses provided, which includes initial vet exam, spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm and fecal tests. The animals we bring into our homes become our family and we look for families that will treat them as we do.

Come Visit Us!

Showings are held at PetSmart on Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta (East Cobb County). Please call for dates and times. Animals may also be seen by appointment. If you are unable to adopt at this time, but would like to help with our mission please contact Nancy or Jennifer. It is amazing how one person alone can make a difference! My mother and I have saved over 600 animals since we started this rescue work! As I look back now I feel blessed to have found Shep and Buddy, and am grateful for how they have enriched our lives in so many ways. The love we have for them, and all of those like them keep us going! Donations can be made in many forms-and are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. We are a non-profit organization run strictly on donations. We get no government assisstance. Please help us provide these homeless pets with the needed care they deserve. If you would prefer to send something directly to our vet, please call and we will give you the address. We are also always in need of crates, exercise pens, leashes, collars, bowls, bedding, food, toys, etc. We also go through an abundance of laundry detergent and bleach. The rescue and rehab process, while extremely rewarding, is incredibly costly. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please send it to "All Paws Considered, INC", 5350 West Bank Drive, Marietta, GA 30068. There are so many homeless animals that need our help and with the support of concerned individuals, we are able to do so much more. On behalf of our APC babies- we thank you. ONE AT A TIME...AS MANY AS POSSIBLE...UNTIL THERE ARE NONE...SAVE JUST ONE...
