Who We Are
Cobb County Animal Control houses lost, abandoned and unwanted animals of Cobb County - Marietta, Georgia. Some of the pets are turned in by the previous owner and we are able to place information about the animal on Petfinder. Some animals are strays and we do not know anything about them except what we have observed during our time with them.
We believe in honesty and will put good and sometimes not so good information about the animal on Petfinder so that we are upfront with the potential new owner. This helps them make a wise decision when adopting a pet and keeps the animal from being returned.
For example: If the animal was never an inside dog or cat that does not mean that it can not be trained, but we do not want to give the impression that the pet is housetrained or knows how to behave inside your home if we are not sure.
AGAIN HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY AND WE ARE HONEST WITH OUR POTENTIAL ADOPTERS BY GIVING THEM ALL THE KNOWN INFORMATION ABOUT OUR ANIMALS.

Cobb County Animal Control has many adoptable cats and dogs. Those shown on this web page are only a few of the many adoptable animals housed at our shelter.
The adoption prices:
Dogs 12 months and older $40.00
Puppy under 12 months $30.00
Cat 12 months and older $35.00
Kitten under 12 months $30.00
This includes the first set of shots and worming.
Most animals are Microchipped.

Our Shelter hours for Adoptions are:
Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
CLOSED Mondays and Holidays
