Who We Are
American Brittany Rescue, Inc. is a nationwide group of over 600 volunteers who provide veterinary care, evaluation, and find adoptive homes for Brittanys who have been abandoned, are unwanted or lost. Volunteers of American Brittany Rescue, Inc. place hundreds of Brittanys every year across the U.S. and Canada in addition to providing information on the breed, and advice to Brittany owners and prospective owners.
Brittanys can make wonderful family dogs and excel in many areas, but they are not for everyone. They are active, playful, energetic dogs who require personal attention every day. If you'd like to learn whether a Brittany is a good choice for you, your family and/or your lifestyle, please read Choosing a Brittany.
Although many any rescued dogs do hunt with their new families, our primary concern is finding homes where they will be a valued member of the family.
